Barndominiums

Barndominiums that start with a stronger shell

A barndo is only as good as its bones. CLSC barndominium shells use cold-formed steel beams instead of wood framing — fireproof, termite proof, and stronger than concrete — with porches, gambrel roofs, and wraparound options designed around your floor plan.

Questions, answered

How much does a steel barndominium shell cost?

Our 18 × 24 backyard bardo with a 6-foot porch is $15,000, and a 16 × 30 barndo with an 8-foot porch lean-to is $22,000 — both delivered and installed east of the Mississippi. Larger custom barndos are quoted to your plan.

Can I finish the interior myself?

Yes. The shell includes walls, beams, roof, and all window and door cuts; interior build-out, window dressing, and porch decor are completed by your contractor or quoted by us separately.

How strong are CLSC steel buildings?

Every building uses cold-formed steel beams and 26-gauge PBR panels, wind rated up to 155 mph and tested at our FEMA-approved wind-tunnel facility. Steel is fire resistant and termite proof.
